Since its founding and establishment in 2010, Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding’s Mother denim jeans have been celebrated for both its luxurious comfort and perfect fit. In combining the two, Becker and Kaeding have created a premium jean label which provides the comfort associated with “jeggings” with the laid-back fit and style of authentic West Coast jeans. Mother denim’s enduring values of timeless design and high-end quality are reflected in every single pair of denim jeans produced.
Mother denim has also done several collaborations since it’s launch–one of which is the Freja+Mother capsule collection. Model Freja Beha Erichsen recently teamed up with Mother to create a line of denim jeans that emanates the model’s typically androgynous and tom boy style. The denim capsule collection, which was released on September 16, consists of a variety of covetable and classic denim pieces one would expect to be seen in Freja’s enviable closet. Ten percent of all Freja+Mother denim sales will also be donated to the Doctors Without Borders charity–an international humanitarian and medical organization which provides medical care and assistance to nearly 70 countries heavily affected by malnutrition, natural disasters, and war.
