This season’s fashion forwards were faced with a particularly daunting challenge during NYFW: looking good while battling the elements. Here are some of our favourite street style looks from New York Fashion Week; the balance between form, function and fashion is truly worthy of applause:

Statement pieces dominated street style during London Fashion Week. Over-sized coats, bold prints, beaded embellishments, and all things Punk. Even the accessories were out in full attention-grabbing force – Fendi’s “Bag Bugs” being among the favorite (if you haven’t seen…check them out here. They are too cute for words!) Milan street stylers adopted a sophisticated, minimalist approach to fashion week – perhaps they can thank the gorgeous weather for that.
