COLLECTION PREVIEW: SEA AW14
Alright, this is jumping the gun a bit, as the SEA S/S14 collection is only beginning to filter into the shop, but we had to give you a sneak peek of the label’s A/W14 offering; it is beautiful and brilliant. The unfussy styling – with tall boots, midi-skirts, and layers of lace, leather, and wool – warms our Canadian hearts. Shot in a winter landscape, the look-book makes no bones about announcing its season’s wearability. In an industry where fantasy is often celebrated over function (Commes des Garçons A/W14?), it is refreshing to see such a smart, cool, and practical collection maintain the marker ‘fashion’.
