Coup x Ordinary People

This Fall/Winter season, Coup Boutique is welcoming a plethora of pieces hailing from fashion labels around the world –G.V.G.V., Sacai Luck,  Angélique Chmielewski, and EachXOther to name a few. So, we asked local fashion blogger (and new Coup Boutique member) Alyssa Lau to style and model a couple outfits featuring our new arrivals in our F/W 13 lookbook. Shot by film photographer extraordinaire Zach Ayotte. The photo shoot took place on a lovely summer evening in a adorable old neighborhood where Zachary resides.

We first spotted Alyssa on her blog, Ordinary People, which she originally launched 2 years ago, alongside her cousin, Kurtis. Since then, Alyssa has maintained the blog both as a hobby and personal outlet for all her fashion-related endeavors. Now freshly graduated with a general BSc, Alyssa continues to pursue her interest in fashion by collaborating with fashion labels and companies such as Gap, Forever 21, Solestruck, and now, Coup Boutique.

Zachary Ayotte has been a long-time favourite of ours –after he shot our 2012 Holiday campaign, we knew that we had to have him back again and again. An extremely talented photographer whom specializes in film photography, Zach’s work has been displayed in exhibitions in Edmonton, Toronto, Vienna, and Manchester City.
